Embracing Wellness During Spring

Spring is a time for new beginnings, more sunlight and fresh air, and a season to refresh your mind, body & soul.

Embrace Mornings: Intentional mornings lay the foundation for the remainder of your day.

  • Open the curtains, shades, and windows to allow sunlight and fresh air into your home.

  • Take your vitamins, medications, and/or supplements with a glass of water to rehydrate your body from a lack of hydration while you were sleeping. Whether you prefer your water infused or plain, cold or room temperature, bottled or glass, do not skip this step. Water before coffee. Always. Once hydrated and getting your necessary fresh air and sunlight, enjoy your coffee, tea, and breakfast of choice. If you experience low appetite in the morning, fruits make a great choice for a small yet nutritious breakfast.

Embrace The Outdoors: Sunlight boosts mood & energy levels!

  • Walk to work if you can. If you can’t walk to work, walk to lunch. If you can’t walk to lunch, walk home. If you can’t walk home, walk when you get there.

  • Take your dog on an extended walk if the weather permits or take a mindful stroll listening to some of your favorite music.

  • Go for a run

  • Hit a hiking trail.

  • Try outdoor yoga or stretching

  • Visit a park or botanical garden
